Humpty Dumpty / You Got Me Hummin

P-VineP762777, ReissueJapan2021$20Out of stock
Humpty Dumpty" is a 7-inch cut from the first Placebo album, which has established a reputation as a "progressive jazz" album with its unique cool arrangements and groovy, looping sound. In 1971, Placebo's first album, "Humpty Dumpty," was very popular in the rare groove scene because of its coolness and looping sound, which was not seen in the jazz scene, especially in the US. The song "Humpty Dumpty," which has been sampled by J.Dilla and many other hip-hop classics, was once cut as a 7-inch single in 2014 in a limited edition of 500 copies, but it has already been premiered. In addition, the funky tune "You Gotta Me Hamin," which was a hit for Sam & Dave, was made into a heavy sound with a brass-rock style horn arrangement that was popular at the time.
